Thermal Applications

High Operating Temperature: CerCo Structural Ceramics are capable of sustained operation at temperatures exceeding 2000°F. This makes them ideal for use as feedthroughs, standoffs, fixturing, rails, axles, or connector housings for thermocouples and other precision instruments used in high temperature furnaces.

Welding Applications: The resistance of these materials to spattering makes them attractive for use in fixturing for brazing, spot-welding and other hot metal joining methods.

Thermal Shock Resistance: CerCo Structural Ceramics' ability to resist fracture can be greatly enhanced with proper attention to component design. The avoidance of large mass changes and sharp corners can allow this material to last a long time under demanding conditions offering a cost-effective material that will get the job done for you.
